How Can We Help? A Community Ideation Session with SHN for Domestic Violence Awareness Month

  • The Network 1 East Wacker Drive Suite 1630 Chicago, IL, 60601 United States (map)

This October, The Safe Haven Network is inviting our community partners to come together and brainstorm innovative ways to address the link between domestic violence and animal abuse in Chicago. Bringing together professionals from the domestic violence field and the animal welfare field, along with engaged members of the community, we will take part in an ideation exercise to jump-start a roundtable conversation about the link between domestic violence and animal abuse and how we can work together to help our friends, families, and neighbors break the cycle of violence.

The Safe Haven Network will apply the ideas developed in this meeting to the re-launch of our innovative Referral Program. We also hope that the discussion will spark a cooperative movement in our community to support survivors of domestic violence - both human and pet.

Space is limited, so register early!
